A New Beginning

For those of you who don’t know, for several years (I think 10+, but I truly can’t remember) I had a blog called Beyoutiful Beauty.

I started it to help me define what beauty and self-love meant to me, but over the years it morphed into me sharing personal stories, my favorite products & so much more. I’m so immensely proud of all the things I did and documented with that blog, but eventually I fell out of love with it so I stopped renewing my domain/hosting for it a few years ago.

Over the last week or so, I’ve felt SUCH a strong urge to resurrect that blog again because I miss sharing the things I love and that are on my mind in a dedicated space.

I started looking into transferring domain names, switching hosting sites, etc., but that just made me feel hella confused and not inspired anymore. I initially wanted to keep blogging with my old name and have all my old posts still show up somehow, but I’m not that person anymore so it’s time to start fresh.

I don’t regret anything I blogged about back then, but right now it feels more important to get my words out instead of finding the perfect, seamless place to put them, you know what I mean?

And so this blog, Be Here Now, has been born! It’ll be a mixture of me sharing thoughts on various things, including my favorite products and empties because I LOVE seeing other people share theirs, but I’ll also do more longform content on a variety of topics including self-love, justice, body acceptance & much more.

There’s a new name & overall vibe to it, but the premise is still the same: a woman trying to navigate and figure out her place in this world.

I’m not promising to post a certain number of times a week/month/whatever, but I do promise that it’ll all be posted from my heart even if the topics may be wildly different from time to time.

And even if no one else ever reads this but me, I’m more than okay with that <3 I just want a space to type out all my thoughts in a way I haven’t had for several years and I’ve just missed it so much.

So thank you for being here (if you even are here, I have no idea) & allowing me to be me <3
